Did you know that staph bacteria is the cause for boils, carbuncles, and staph infections ? Well it is, and some staph has evolved into resistant bacteria for treatment by perscription antibiotics.
Some natural products though, can still stop and kill the staph bacteria.
Combine the following treatment steps to fight the staph bacteria :
Step 1
Apply a hot damp cloth to the boil two times a day will help bring it to a head so it can drain. Then, wash your hands or use antibacterial liquid.
Step 2
Apply tea tree oil directly onto the boil with a cotton swab or cotton ball. Immediately wash your hands in hot water and soap or use a no-rinse anti-bacterial liquid.
Repeat this 3 times a day. At night, you may want to cover the boil with a clean bandage. Discard swabs, cotton balls and bandage into a plastic bag, wrap it up and throw it into the trash. Again, wash your hands or use antibacterial liquid.
Step 3
Take acidophilus in the morning and at night. This is available as capsules in organic food stores. This boosts your immune system and fights the bacterial infection.
Step 4
Mix 1 tablespoon honey and 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar in 1 cup of hot water. Drink it all right down. Repeat three times a day.
You can also make a paste of equal parts honey and vinegar and apply directly to the boil. Wash your hands immediately.
By combining these alternative methods of treatment, you are battling the staph bacteria on all fronts, and it should heal quite quickly. Remember that you should not share your towels, linens, clothes or personal items such as razors to keep from spreading staph.
You should see your physician if condition worsens or you develop a fever.
